SWIM WASH CARE

Although all of our Swimwear is made and/or lined in mainly Lycra, and wearble in water, we use a lot of embellished and detailed fabrics and trims giving them a more delicate nature than your average Swimwear items. 

DO NOT MACHINE WASH - alot of our swimwear uses delicate and embellished fabric and trims therefore we advise against machine washing unless it is a full Lycra piece.

HAND WASH - we best advise to spot wash any specific areas that need washing, for example under arms and crotch, once washed then the full item can be rinsed through. 

DO NOT SOAK - we do not advise soaking any of our garments in water and detergent. This can damage fabrics and trims. 

STAIN REMOVAL - target any stained areas with stain removal spray, repeating several time if required. Ensure stain sprays do not contain bleach unless using on pure white Lycra in which case do not leave for too long before rinsing as this could damage the item.

CHLORINE & SALT - please be mindful of chlorine and salt water if left on the garments for a prolonged period, getting wet and drying for example, it’s always best if possible to rinse under a clean water shower after plunging in salt or chlorine water. It would also be best for any removable trims to removed before entering water if at all possible (without spoiling your outfit look of course), if not then ensure a good rinse before allowing to dry.

IRONING - whilst we dont encourage you iron your swimwear, should you want to remove any creases then cover your swimwear with a thin piece of white cotton or non coloured fabric to avoid the iron touching the swimwear, and iron on a low heat. Slowly increase the heat should it not be high enough but never iron straight onto the swimwear fabric. As always when ironing test a small corner/edge before ironing a larger more central piece. **Avoid ironing any embellishment/ trims whatsoever, irons are heavy and can knock them off, or melt any adhesive glue, remove shine / coatings

STEAMING - We do not suggest you steam your swimwear as this is direct heat to the fabric and may cause instant burning, damage to the fabric and any trims.
